Steve has been with Summit since March of 2023 and is the Engineer of Responsible Charge for the firm’s Mining Department.  He brings a wealth of knowledge and over 40 years of experience to the firm.  Steve is knowledgeable in nearly every facet of mining operations and engineering including surface and deep mine engineering, coal preparation, and refuse facility construction.  His experiences also include freshwater dam design and construction along with environmental structure design oversight.  Steve’s background in both mining operations and engineering has proven to be valuable to Summit’s mining clients.
